Description and Context
"Give the best to the world and the best will come back to you" was the motto of the Lincoln Hospital School of Nursing. The eighth annual commencement took place May 17-18, 1914. On Sunday the students participated in a baccalaureate sermon at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and on, on the following day, in graduation exercises at White Rock Baptist Church.
