Lincoln Hospital offered a two-year training program for laboratory and radiology technology health professionals. Two students were accepted into the program every six month. During an era when most hospitals refused to admit African Americans into allied health professions programs, Lincoln Hospital and other black hospitals offered tangible avenues for professional development.
